Brian Clifford is a husband, father, attorney, small business owner, and dedicated Conservative Republican. He is a proud supporter of President Donald J. Trump and his policies.

 

In 2019, Brian took leave from his legal practice to serve in the administration of Governor Bill Lee. There he led a state budget task force where he put his conservative values to work recommending significant spending reductions, while safeguarding critical programs. 

 

In 2024, Governor Lee appointed Brian to the position of Director of Tennessee’s Office of Outdoor Recreation. In this role, Brian champions Tennessee’s economy and quality of life through our beautiful outdoors.

 

In addition to his service to our state, Brian serves our community as a member of the Williamson County Commission.  As a County Commissioner, he consistently upholds the conservative values of the Republican Party in his policy decisions. He also serves on the Regional Planning Commission and the Williamson County Agriculture Committee.

 

Brian obtained his Bachelors Degree from MTSU in political science and his law degree from the University of Tennessee. He is married to his wife Michelle of 14 years. The Cliffords have two children and the family attends Brentwood Baptist Church.
